June 2019 Meeting
Our members have been busy making beautiful quilts and we all enjoyed a variety of quilts from traditional patterns to improv to art.
What a wonderful meeting indeed, which started with a presentation about Kaffe Fasset and his journey of stitching, quilting and finally to designing fabrics.
Dipti Fernandez showed her lovely Elephant from Pam Holland’s workshop and a lovely splash of colours in a traditional quilt setup.
We were fortune to have not one but two International Quilters in Kenya this year. Earlier in the year we had Pam Hollands teaching us some wonderful quilting techniques then it was something new and very Modern “Improv” by Kathy Graves. Tina, Jasvinder and Raji with some fantastic results. Raji Syan used all African fabrics for her Modern Quilt.
