February 2019 Meeting

February Meeting had some important announcements about the AGM, request for nominations for the board and intake of students for the workshops by Kathy Graves.

January 2019 Meeting

What a gorgeous and colourful way to start the new year for KQG. The highlight of the meeting was the most wonderful Pam Holland.

December 2018 Meeting

A lovely and heartwarming end to an incredible quilting year for Kenya Quilt Guild. The yearend Christmas party was well attended and loads of fun.

November 2018 Meeting

November meeting was all about holiday decorations. We had a special surprise for all our members, to make Christmas Ornaments.

June meeting was a Mega Show and Tell. The members were contesting for the calendar challenge. The theme for this year was “ The Great Grevy Zebra”. February 2018 Meeting

Warming up for KQG Quilt Show 2018.  We had a very busy meeting for KQG in February. Members were submitting quilts, signing up for Bev Rebelo’s very interesting workshops and also for volunteering for white glove duty.  And our most lovely invitations are also ready.

KQG November 2017 Meeting

A delightful November meeting. Some beautiful and creative quilts were displayed along with a rare find by Donna. The techniques included hand dyed fabric, hexagons made with gorgeous Kenyan Kanga, appliqué, foil on fabric and incredible hand quilting with African motifs.

Kenya Quilt Guild October 2017 Meeting

An incredible display of colorful and very thoughtfully planned quilts. The dachshund quilt showed love and care for a friend, blast of colours in a nine patch and snowball quilt for a darling daughter, full of love Bargello Heart, ShweShwe dress for a dolly, Gorgeous Giraffes, EPP patterns with African fabric and gorgeous decorated bras to commemorate Cancer Awareness Day. We had it all.
