Workshops

Workshops are held weekly in Nairobi area. Members work on quilting projects for various charities and fund raising projects. Strong friendships are formed, personal stories shared and quilters find helpful support within the workshops.Technical skills are sharpened, design ideas are shared and discussed and confidence in the medium is encouraged.

Using colour, symbolism and shape to tell a story

There will be a demonstration and talk by Jane Burke, visiting from Canada, on the use of symbolism in quilts. Please meet at Karen Crumpacker's house by 10:30 on Dec. 19th. It will be a coffee and tea gathering. Call Karen if you need directions. Her number can be found in the Snippets.
