Meetings

Kenya Quilt Guild meetings are held each month, except Aug. and Dec., on the 3rd Thursday. We meet at WEAL house, the East African Women's league Headquarters, on Bishops Rd. Members and guests are asked to gather at 9:30 a.m. to check in, browse the library and chat, in order for the business meeting to begin at 10:00. Meetings include guest speakers, demonstrations or workshops along with regular business.

Several of our members make their own hand-dyed fabrics, embroideries and other quilting related items. There is frequently the opportunity to buy fabrics , quilting magazines and other quilt related items at the meetings.

The Guild has a very comprehensive library. The books, patterns and DVDs can be checked out by the members for a small fee.

To all Kenya Quilt Guild Members:
     Notice is given, pursuant to Clause 8(b) of the constitution for the Kenya Quilt Guild, that the Annual General Meeting of the Guild will be held on Thursday, 25th of March, 2010 at EAWL House, Nairobi, at 10 am.  If any member wishes to raise a matter at the AGM, then please give notice to the Chairman at least four weeks before the date of the meeting.  All positions in the Executive Committee are open for members so please consider running for a place.
