Meetings

Kenya Quilt Guild meetings are held each month, except Aug and Dec., on the 3rd Thursday. We meet at WEAL house, the East African Women's league Headquarters, on Bishops Rd. Members and guest are asked to gather at 9:30 a.m.to check in,browse the library,and chat, in order for the business meeting to begin at 10:00. Meetings include guest speakers, demonstrations or workshops along with regular business.

Several of our members make their own hand-dyed fabrics, embroideries and other quilting related items. There is frequently the opportunity to buy fabrics , quilting magazines and other quilt related items at the meetings.

The Guild has a very comprehensive library. The books, patterns and DVDs can be checked out by the members for a small fee.
